There’s been a jail break and you’ve been left behind. The world today is a prison managed by news networks, bankrolled by the government. We’ve all been serving time as we get on our preferred medium to pick up the latest lies on the news.
But how’s that possible? Aren’t the news networks supposed to be our eyes and ears in government?
The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. – former Chief of Staff of The New York Times
Well the truth is…you’ve been blinded ever since you started to watch, hear and read the news.
From the cherished news networks in the US, to the big brother community in the UK, what we hear on the news are simply half truths and lies paid for by the government. Unfortunately for you, it’s your money they spend, which is our common heritage by law. The joke is on you, if you fail to find out how they use your own money to lie to your face.
In case you still don’t get where this is going, they have long told you that news networks are independent, right? Here’s what John Swinton, former Chief of Staff of The New York Times had to say about that;
“The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.”
If the journalists are brainy whores ever willing to get screwed for their next paycheque, what are we the consumers of their fabricated stories? A trash can for used condoms?
Before you flush in that next piece of news, you need to know that your gullibility has been paid for in full by none other but your government. Zoom in, follow closely, here are ways the government controls news networks with money…your money:
Through Their Millionaire Cronies
You think that a multi-millionaire buying into a news network (like JP Morgan did in as far back as 1917) is simply to make some advertising money? Think again.
Fast forward to 2013, three of America’s successful businessmen scrambled to buy over newspapers. The thing is, the newspaper business was bad. It was losing $16 in print ads for every $1 earned in digital ads in 2012. Yet, these businessmen bought them and certainly not for financial profit.
Why then were they so interested in such a ‘non-profitable’ industry? Why did Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos buy over Washington Post? Was it for profit or simply access to America’s political and intellectual class who define what comes out as news from the capital?
With these men behind the scenes dictating what appears on our screens, you now see why the so-called ‘media censorship’ exists. Little wonder why Americans’ trust in the news networks is barely 40%, states a new poll by Gallup.
Through Corporate Interest
Whether you spend your time reading online, listening to the radio or watching television, most of what you digest is provided by big corporations. And they care about nothing but ‘corporate interest’, another phrase for government money. They dictate the information you consume every day.
There are about 10 big players controlling the majority of news networks in the United States. Top on the list are Time Warner (runs CNN, etc), Walt Disney (runs ABC TV Network, ESPN Inc., etc), Hearst Corporation (runs Cosmopolitan magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, etc) Viacom Inc. (runs BET, MTV, etc).
What other form of control is greater than having the news networks owned and managed by a few with corporate interests?
Again, this embarrassment is backed by the law (The Communications Decency Act). There is a grey area in the Telecommunications Deregulation Bill (signed into law February of 1996 by President Clinton) which allows large corporations own multiple news networks that will never run against its owner’s corporate interest.
Through Paid Associates / Staffers
It was a staffer of the US secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who carried out the government’s media control dirty job. The staffer was sent to plant questions in a CBS (owned by Westinghouse which runs at least 12 other ‘news networks’) 60 Minutes interview with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Why? To discredit the later and make him appear rebellious to the American people because he dared to ‘leak’ the truth. If the government had no control over the media and did not continue to lie to our faces, why would there be need to leak the truth?
The truth is out there. Lead your own jail break from the government’s prison of misinformation manned by the money-controlled news networks. As often as you can, research and verify information, starting with this one. And don’t be shy about it, share whatever you find with whoever cares to hear.
