When it comes to fake DMCAs, this case is the one which should highlight the shortcomings of the DMCA law. This should be a case study in itself.

Perhaps a statute of limitation when it comes to filing DMCAs ?

The DMCA notice was filed on April 09, 2015 by a website ‘DataQwest Wired News Corporation’. That’s an awesome name for a News Agency.

Now, here’s the fun part. The article at was published in 1991. Nineteen Ninety One. Yes. Hartford Courant is a newspaper which is active since decades.
