ANALYZING THE FAKE DMCA
Another university caught scamming. We suspect that the following (fake) universities are connected, and maybe have the same ‘owner’ behind them –
- WILLINGTON UNIVERSITY
- SANDERFORD UNIVERSITY
- OXDELL UNIVERSITY
- BAYTOWN UNIVERSITY
- QUEEN BAY UNIVERSITY
- HANSFORD UNIVERSITY
All above 6 websites had content planted on https://schoolinspector.wordpress.com/ , a fake blog, in order to try and trick Google into de-indexing the legitimate webpages. In this case, they used a new fake blog – https://highschoolxland.wordpress.com .
They succeeded in de-indexing http://www.dubaifaqs.com/willington-university-dubai.php .
So let’s closely examine this claim –
- The fake blog https://highschoolxland.wordpress.com had just 3 articles published on it.
- Although the blog displays dates on it’s articles ranging back to 2012, the fact is that the entire blog was created on 12th May 2014, the same day the fake DMCA was filed. The same can be verified by viewing the source code of the blog – ”

It seems that these fake universities is managed by the same person/gang who were behind these fake DMCA notices. Webactivism is going to ensure that the information they tried to suppress is revealed to as many people as possible.
SO WHAT WERE THEY TRYING TO HIDE ?
It is the same old story. Someone has a negative review at Ripoff Report. It ranks high on Google and hurts their reputation as well as business.
This review alleged that Willington University indulged in unethical behavior and uses telemarketing tricks to sell fraudulent degrees. It further alleges that the university is a total scam and does not physically exist, and is operated virtually. We cannot verify the authenticity of these claims.
Ever since the fake DMCA attempts have been revealed, we’re not so sure these allegations are fake.
EDITOR’S COMMENT : For those who might ask – ‘why and how do we interject that ”Willington University” has something to do with this fake DMCA. Couldn’t it be a coincidence ?’, we will say this – When someone goes and creates a whole new fake news site, falsifies his/her identity and submits fake DMCA to try and de-list some very targeted content on Google, it signals intent and a plan. It is obvious that ‘Willington University’ or someone they hired was directly involved in this crime. Willington University also cannot plead ignorance in this matter, since this notice on Google search is hard to miss, really.
